Water Polo: Romania qualifies for Olympic Games 2012

Romania’s water polo team qualified for the Summer Olympic Games in London by defeating Brazil on Friday, score 19-8 (4-0, 5-2, 6-1, 4-5), in the quarterfinals of the pre-Olympic tournament in Edmonton, Canada, hotnews.ro informs. Coached by Istvan Kovacs, the Romanian men gave no chance to their opponents and categorically won the decisive game. Romania had a 7-0 lead at the half of the second quarter, then the South Americans scored their first goals.
