Ungureanu sent Chevron a formal letter in view of making public the contracts

Premier Mihai Ungureanu told the members of NGOs, during talks held Tuesday at the Government HQ, that he sent Chevron a letter in which he demands that the contracts signed by the US company in Romania are made public – a procedure which must be approved by both sides, Mediafax reports. “During talks with representatives of non-governmental organisations, the premier said that, on April 4, he formally sent Chevron a letter in which he asks the management of the American company to agree making the contracts public, and that he is waiting for their answer so he can make these contracts public,” said sources that attended the talks.
