Vasile Puscas, former minister in charge with European Affairs, and Romania’s chief negotiator with the EU, was the only candidate for the place in the Board of Administrators (CA) of Banca Transilvania (TLV) vacated by the resignation of Robert Rekkers from the positions of Board member and CEO, Mediafax reports. The deadline for submitting a candidacy was Thursday, April 12. Early in 2010, Banca Transilvania announced that Puscas acts as the bank’s senior adviser for European programmes. The place in the Board is vacant since last winter, when Robert Rekkers resigned from his position of CEO and member of the Board. The nomination of Puscas must be validated by the General Meeting of Shareholders, on April 27.
