US military aircraft emergency lands on Kogalniceanu Airport

A US military aircraft with seven crew members and two passengers onboard declared an emergency yesterday morning and asked to land on the ‘Mihail Kogalniceanu’ Airport of Constanta. The plane eventually landed without incidents. Airport officials announced that, around 10.00 AM, a KC 130 airplane involved in the Black Sea ‘Rotational Force’ 12 exercise organised by the US Marine Corps declared an emergency because of an engine malfunction. Later, the pilots called off the emergency and safely landed the plane.
