Magyar Music Festival

The Hungarian Cultural Center in Bucharest is holding May 9-11 a performance contest for young Romanian musicians. The festival aims to spread the values of the Magyar classical and contemporary music and to discover and promote talented Romanian newcomers. During the three concert-competition evenings, young artists will display their talents in 25-minute programs consisting of Magyar music, roughly one-third of the program, and Romanian and/universal music, the remaining two-thirds. Venue: The Cultural Center of the Republic of Hungary, Bucharest – 18:00 hours – 8, Gina Patrichi St.
