Tennis: Tecau, Lindstedt defeated in Madrid Final

Fourth-seeded Poles Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski triumphed at the Mutua Madrid Open for the second time after beating sixth seeds Robert Lindstedt and Horia Tecau 6-3, 6-4 in Sunday’s final, according to atpworldtour.com. Lindstedt and Tecau dropped to a 7-8 record together in finals. After winning the Bucharest title two weeks ago (d. Chardy/Kubot), they were bidding to win their second trophy of the season. They also lost out in the Rotterdam final (l. to Llodra/Zimonjic) in February.
