Secretary general with MoD, appointed as the new prefect of Bucharest

Georgeta Gavrila, secretary general with the Ministry of National Defence (MoD), will be the new prefect of Bucharest, a piece of information that was also confirmed by the delegate minister for Administration, Victor Paul Dobre announced. “This is not far from truth,” the minister said, answering a question about the government nominating Georgeta Gavrila as Prefect of the Capital. Georgeta Gavrila works with MoD since 2005. Before, she had occupied the position of director with the National Agency of Public Servants. She is not a member of any political party, but enjoys the support of PNL.
