Generali Romania’s subscribed bonuses up by 6 pc in Q1

Generali Romania insurance company subscribed gross bonuses worth RON 138.3 M in Q1, up by 6 per cent compared to the same period last year, of which RON 114.6 M represented general insurances, the company announced yesterday, a press release informs. Insurances for commercial and industrial risks represented 22 per cent of the volume of gross bonuses subscribed on the general insurances sector and registered a growth of 11.5 per cent. The most important general insurance lines that led to the growth registered on the corporate sector consisted of technical insurances (+34 per cent) and property insurances (fire industry; +18 per cent). Revenues from general insurances grew by 5.5 per cent, those from travel insurances by 8.5 per cent, and those from life insurances by 0.2 per cent to RON 23.7 M. Generali will focus on life insurances, corporate insurances, particularly property insurances, Casco insurances and travel insurances. For this year Generali Romania estimates a 13 per cent growth in subscriptions, to RON 577.82 M.
