INS: Turnover increases, expected in all economic sectors

Company managers estimate for May-July an increase of the activity in the processing and construction industries, along with a moderate growth of retail and services, compared to the previous three-month interval, according to the National Statistics Institute (INS). In the processing industry, managers predict an output increase (conjectural balance +18 pc). Metallurgy, too, will experience an important growing trend (conjectural balance +43 pc), in terms of output forecast. The prices of industrial products are expected to have a moderate advance (conjectural balance +9 pc), while the construction sector will register an increase of the production (conjectural balance +29 pc) and of the stock of contracts and orders (conjectural balance +21 pc). The total volume of the sales of goods by commercial units to merchandise providers will advance moderately (conjectural balance +7 pc). The managers of commercial units estimate that retail prices will go up in the near future (conjectural balance +25 pc), same as the demand for services (conjectural balance +7 pc).
