Norway offers EUR 306 M grant to reduce pollution

Norway will provide a grant worth EUR 306 M to Romania during 2012-2014, through the programmes of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism and of the European Economic Area (EEA), reads a press release. To this regard, Romanian and Norwegian experts will hold the second consultation meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business Environment, as part of the Green Industry Innovation programme, which aims at curbing the production and emission of waste in the soil, water and air, boosting business opportunities in the ecologisation of the Romanian economy, stimulating the use of environment-friendly technologies and creating new jobs in the green industry and entrepreneurship sectors.
