The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Ovidiu Silaghi, yesterday appointed Stefan Roseanu as General Manager of CFR Calatori, replacing Dorin Maer, Mediafax reports. Roseanu has been the Secretary General of the Association of Rail Industry of Romania. Maer had been appointed to head CFR Calatori by former Transport Minister Anca Boagiu in July 2011. CFR Calatori is one of the state-owned companies set to receive private management under the agreement with the IMF.
