Over the past five-six years, Romanian companies have been among the chief suppliers of industrial equipment for the large oil companies in the Middle East, which export their products to Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait and Qatar. Romania ranked among the top 50 such suppliers, with the annual average value of exports to Bahrain of around USD 10 M, according to a press release. Among the main categories of Bahrain imports from Romania, gauging and control equipment, industrial automaton equipment, which rose over 50 pc from 2010 onward. In early June of this year, Syscom 18, a Romanian manufacturer of industrial automated gauging systems, concluded the design, performance, testing and delivery to Bahrain of four gauging systems for loading diesel fuel into tank trucks.
