Itinerant Academy ‘Andrei Serban,’ in Mogosoaia

The 4th edition of the Itinerant Academy ‘Andrei Serban’ will be organised on July 8-21 at the Mogosoaia Center near Bucharest, as a framework-programme of the Romanian Cultural Institute. This year’s edition will bring together over 60 actors, directors, stage designers, choreographers, playwrights and musicians. The workshops organised during past years focused on the Tanacu case (2007), the work of Brancusi (2009) and Eminescu (2011), and this year’s edition will be dedicated to Shakespeare and Caragiale. “[…] These actions preponderantly had an educational purpose, with more than 100 youths benefiting, on several occasions, from a high-class technical training that challenged them to expand the boundaries of their knowledge. […] I eagerly await the Mogosoaia workshop,” Andrei Serban said, quoted by Hotnews.
