Former PNL Deputy Mircea Ciopraga was appointed as member of the Transelectrica Board of Administrators, the company announces in a press release quoted by HotNews.ro. He will also – provisionally – take over the position of Chairman of the Board until the new administrators are nominated in accordance with OUG 109/2011 on the corporate governance of public enterprises. Ciopraga became administrator following the resignation of Gheorghe Stefan, currently CEO of Hidroelectrica. Stefan Gheorghe had been appointed as Transelectrica Board member on June 1st, but later he was nominated as CEO of Hidroelectrica.
