Romanians got used to crisis, yet feel its negative consequences

the crisis, but feel the pinch at a personal level more and more acutely, as recession has been going on for over three years now, says a survey conducted by 360insights and quoted by Mediafax. The most important effects of the crisis at a general level in Romania are, according to the interviewed people, the loss of jobs (97 per cent), decreasing salaries (95 per cent), cutbacks on expenses (95 per cent) and family insecurity (96 per cent). At a personal level, 57 per cent of the respondents say they or someone close to them have been affected by job loss, 79 per cent fear for the security of their families and 70 per cent complain about pay cuts.
