Fitch reconfirms Romania’s rating at ‘BBB-‘ with stable outlook

Fitch reconfirmed Thursday Romania’s rating for long-term debts in foreign currency at ‘BBB-‘, and the rating of long-term debts in RON at ‘BBB’, with stable outlook, due to the implementation of the fiscal consolidation policy despite the worsening of the economic climate in the country and abroad.The rating for short-term debts was reconfirmed at ‘F3’ and the country ceiling cap at ‘BBB+,’ the agency announces in a press release.
