Because of the health problems vocal soloist Sully Erna is facing, Godsmack is forced to cancel its concerts in Europe, a communiqué informs. Consequently, the band’s appearance at the Tuborg GreenFest powered by Rock The City has also been canceled. Organizers will seek to reschedule the concert on another date. Godsmack vocal soloist Sully Erna was examined on Tuesday by American doctors after he complained of vocal cord problems. The doctors recommended him to take a break from singing in the following weeks in order to allow the vocal cords to heal. At the same time, Tuborg GreenFest powered by Rock The City organizers have released details about the festival’s timetable and access rules. Green Umbrella – the environment protection programme initiated by Tuborg will be active during the three days of festival in order to promote sanitation and to award the participants that will collect their plastic cups. Likewise, a series of general rules applicable at international level and in force at the event were brought to the general public’s knowledge. Thus, each day of festival will end at 11 PM. The festival will start on Friday at 4.30 PM. Old Green, Luna Amara, Timpuri Noi, Celelalte Cuvinte and Heaven Shall Burn will go on stage in this order, starting at 5 PM. On Saturday the festival will start at 12.30 PM. Saxon, Lacuna Coil, Soulfly, Black Label Society and Machine Head will go on stage starting at 1 PM. The last day of festival will start at 1 PM, with Ugly Kid Joe, Within Temptation, The Cult, Evanescence and Guns N’Roses set to go on stage starting at 1.45 PM. Access will take place on the basis of a valid ticket. Fans will have to keep the tickets on them during the whole concert, and they are also asked to have a valid ID on them too. The access point is located at the entrance of the Romexpo centre, towards the Presei Libere Square. Organizers recommend the fans to use public transportation in order to avoid traffic problems. In case the fans use their personal cars they will be able to park them at a price of RON 10 per day within Romexpo centre’s parking lots C and D.
