Vodafone Romania moved to new geographic division

British telecommunication group Vodafone has rearranged its geographic distribution of markets, its operations in Romania set to join those in Hungary and the Czech Republic within the region supervised by Philipp Humm, former president and general manager of T-Mobile USA, Mediafax informs. Thus, the Central and Northern Europe region will include Vodafone’s operations in Great Britain, Germany, Netherlands, Turkey, Ireland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Romania. Philipp Humm will be general director of operations within this region, set to take over his new prerogatives on October 1. At the same time, Vodafone has included the South European markets into a new geographic division whose leadership will be taken over by Paolo Bertoluzzo on August 1. Bertoluzzo will at the same time remain general manager Vodafone Italy. Thus, Bertoluzzo will be responsible for Vodafone operations in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Albania and Malta.
