Ruukki Romania, a branch of the Finnish metal parts producer Rautaruukki, will manufacture at his factory of Bolintin Deal most of the products included in a EUR 10 M contract signed by the group, for the construction of a smelter in Saudi Arabia. According to a press release, the contract is signed with Outotec, the company that will develop in Saudi Arabia a unit that will produce ilmenite (a mineral used in the production of titanium), for Cristal Global, the second largest producer of titanium dioxide. This is the biggest order taken by the Bolintin Deal factory, in its existence.
