‘Loteria Romana’ has a new general manager

The minister of Public Finance, Florin Georgescu appointed Dan-Alexandru Ghita, former sales manager with Galaxy Games, as general manager of the ‘Loteria Romana’ company, replacing Gheorghe Benea. Ghita will also take over the position of Chairman of the Board of the public lottery operator, reads a press release. “I hope that, through this appointment, I will support Loteria Romana with the entire experience I accumulated on the gambling market of our country, starting with 1998,” Ghita mentions in the press release. The new manager is a graduate of the Electronics Faculty of the Bucharest Polytechnic Institute and an expert in the management of businesses and investments, after he graduated courses at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. Gheorghe Benea, a former mayor of the town of Dej, led Loteria Romana since 2009.
