The expenses with the working apparatus of former PM Emil Boc, during 2009-2011, exceeded RON 8.6 M, with the highest sums being allotted for salaries, protocol and the service homes of employees, while some RON 100,000 were spent on the personal trips of employees. The figures are revealed by an audit made by the General Secretariat of the Government (SGG) on the activity of the former Executive, Mediafax reports. According to the audit, the bulk of expenses was represented by salaries (RON 5.8 M), protocol actions (RON 2.5 M for the cabinet spending and meetings) and service homes (RON 682,655). Other sums were spent for trips abroad (RON 294,256), in Romania (RON 212,692) and at home (RON 104,770). A document made by the former government in March 2011 indicates that the Executive spent about RON 400,000 in 2010 for the Bucharest accommodation of government advisors and SGG employees. The list of SGG personnel whose accommodation costs were covered from state money includes 53 state secretaries from the prime minister’s working apparatus, state undersecretaries, personal advisors and secretaries of the premier, chiefs of cabinet and government inspectors.
