Successor to head of BCR Pensii still unknown

Simona Mihaela Ditescu has quit as head of BCR Pensii, the sixth biggest player on the compulsory private pension market based on the number of subscribers, with a decision on the CEO to be notified before the end of the day, sources close to the administrator told Wall-Street.ro. The same sources mention Dragos Neacsu, currently President of Erste Asset Management, as the most probable replacement for Simona Ditescu, ex-President of the Steering Committee and CEO of BCR Pensii – Administrator of Private Pension Funds, but the person had not been confirmed before this issue went to print.  Three BCR Pensii directors were recently fined by the Board for the Supervision of the Private Pension System (CSSPP) with a total of RON 16,000 for several infringements on the relevant legislation, according to CSSPP’s April monthly newsletter.
