Chisinau 2011 International Art Biennale winner exhibits her work at The Grand Avenue

Starting from today, Diana Tudose, winner of the International Art Biennale Chisinau 2011 exhibits her “Inner” painting series for the first time ever at The Grand Avenue Gallery. The event is organized by curator Ioana Mitu. “In my works, the people are portrayed sleeping. The man wrapped in silence, under whom the bed itself sleeps, transformed into sleep, reverie, love, sickness, and everything else that a being means, and that, since during deep sleep, we are quite close to truth, since the ego is no longer there, the habitual ego, which manifests itself to block the experience; this is why during deep sleep we are about to attract a different kind of world. This word is my painting,” says Diana Tudose.  The 24-year-old painter, who earned her MD from the Bucharest National University of Arts, also had this year a personal exhibition at Adi-Art Gallery in Lodz, Poland, and has participated over the past five years at nine group exhibitions in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi and Focsani. The opening of the exhibition this evening will also offer the opportunity for a Comtesse du Barry wine selection tasting session.    The exbition is on display at The Grand Avenue Gallery, the venue for 5,000 sq m of luxury stores carrying reputed national and international brands.
