BRD lends EUR 26 M for Carrefour and NEPI’s development of Ploiesti Shopping City

Carrefour Property Romania and South-African investment New Europe Property Investments (NEPI) got a 26 M euro from BRD for the development of Ploiesti Shopping City. The total investment is worth 65 M euro, of which 60 pc is secured from direct financing by de Carrefour Property and NEPI as partners in this project, and 40 pc by the credit contract signed by BRD – Groupe Societe Generale, according to the Carrefour communiqué. Ploiesti Shopping City will have a rent space of 55,000 sq m, including a Carrefour hypermarket as the major outlet and over 100 stores.
