Orange Romania revenues reached, for the first half of the year, EUR 448 M, advancing from EUR 457 M over the first six months of 2011, following the cut of inter-connection prices, with a number of subscribers going up to 83,000 this year, to more than 4 million, the company informed in a press release. The company revenues improved by 0.3 per cent following the elimination of inter-connection price cut effect, due to the increased number of clients having a subscription. In the first half of the year, Orange registered a re-evaluation downwards amounting to EUR 159 M for the trade volume and fix assets connected to the operations in Romania because of deteriorated business context, based on a report presented Thursday by the French group telecom where the company is part of. During the second quarter, Orange revenues in the Romanian market went down by EUR 228 M, from EUR 235 M during the same time period of 2011. As against the first quarter of the year, the company revenues advanced by 4 per cent.
