Anniversary projection of ‘The Thing’ at the ‘Full Moon’ Horror and Fantasy Film Festival of Sibiu

An anniversary projection of ‘The Thing,’ 30 years after its premiere, will run during the ‘Full Moon’ (‘Luna Plina’) Horror and Fantasy Film Festival, scheduled to take place on August 16-19 in Biertan, Sibiu County. According to a press release issued by organisers, the Festival will celebrate this anniversary by running a digitally restored version of the famous horror movie, in an extraordinary open-air projection. Another absolute premiere of the Festival is ‘Attack the Block,’ a film bearing the unique brand of Joe Cornish. Horror fans are also invited to watch the satiric film ‘Red State,’ by Kevin Smith. The ‘Full Moon’ Festival is organised by the Romanian Film Promotion Association and presented by the Transilvania International Film Festival.
