The heat wave advisory has been extended until today for Bucharest and 18 counties in southeast Romania, while torrential rains and thunderstorms swept since yesterday across the western, central and northern areas of the country. Western, central and northern Romania will have spotty rain levels in excess of 25-30 l/ sq m and hail.
