The occupancy degree at the seaside was 100 pc over the weekend

The seaside occupancy degree was 100 per cent this week end and it is expected to be 98 per cent over the next days of the week, according to the figures provided by hotel owners from the Federation of Owners in Tourism and Services (FPTR), according to Mediafax. «This year success of the Romanian seaside exceeds the one from 2008 when Romania did not yet experience any crisis and the people purchasing power was much higher. The return of the Romanian tourists on the domestic seaside is also due to the efforts made by hotels and tour operators to provide better conditions and to maintain prices at comparable levels with those of the foreign competition. In addition, quality all inclusive started to be available in Romania as well, which is on high demand from families», based on a FPTR press release. The Federation is of the opinion that a special offer program should be designed for September in order to extend the season and to maintain the seaside occupancy degree also in early autumn, taking advantage of the good weather to be expected.
