ExxonMobil Romania, offshore geotechnical prospecting services worth USD 4.7 M in the Black Sea

The Bucharest branch of ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Romania Limited Nassau (Bahamas) launched an open tender for the acquisition of offshore geotechnical services in the Black Sea, under a contract evaluated between USD 2.3 M and USD 4.71 M, according to an announcement posted on the Electronic System of Public Procurement (SEAP), HotNews.ro reports. The purpose of the 24-month framework agreement is to secure the access of ExxonMobil to the resources identified as necessary for the offshore geotechnical prospecting services in the Black Sea required by subsequent contracts, reads the announcement. The companies willing to participate in the tender must present a guarantee of USD 3,000. In order to be admitted, a participant must demonstrate that it had an average global annual turnover for the last two fiscal years no less than USD 4.6 M. Plus, it must come with maximum 4 references regarding the main services provided in the activity that makes the object of the framework agreement (geotechnical prospecting services) during the last 3 years before submitting the offer in the current procedure, no matter if the beneficiaries were public authorities or private customers. The deadline for submitting requests for documents or for access to documents is September 17, 2012. The deadline for submitting participation offers or demands is September 18.
