EUR 63 M profit for CEZ Romania in H 1

In Romania, the Czeh group CEZ made an EBITDA profit amounting to Czech Crowns 1.6 bln (EUR 63 M) over the first half of the year from the production, sale and distribution of electric energy following to the recovery of the amounts due by the state run railway companies and due to the increased production of the wind plants. The increase of wind energy production contributed to around Czech Crowns 700 M (EUR 27 M) to the profit before interests, taxes and depreciation (EBITDA) made by the group in Romania.
