The Chamber of Deputies Speaker Valeriu Zgonea announced yesterday that tha plenum will be convened today in order to send to the judicial commission the request of the Prosecutor’s Office regarding former administration minister Victor Paul Dobre. “I can’t obstruct the justice, as it happened in Monica Iacob Ridzi’s case. I will send it to the judicial commission to analise the documents and take the decision,” Zgonea said.On the other hand there is an increased tension in relation with the beginning of the criminal pursuit of ex delegated Minister for Administration, Victor Paul Dobre. Thus, according to Agerpres, cited by evz.ro, vice president of National Liberal Party (PNL), Mihai Voicu, said that inside the party, the majority or even unanimously consider a vote against the endorsing of criminal pursuit in case of Dobre.Mihai Voicu said that the Parliament role was not to decide on the liability or non liability of Victor Paul Dobre, but to decide “whether it is a procedure that fulfills all the terms for the current situation, this is what I believe, there is a certain political influence”.Asked whether Dobre should resign from Parliament, Mihai Voicu answered that he could not see a reason because of which the ex Minister should do this since “he won a mandate, that mandate still covers a few more months”. PNL vice president added, in relation to the typed documents released in media, that a discussion within the Superior Council of Magistrates and Judicial Inspection is a useful one.On the other side, the president of Liberal Democrat Party (PDL) said yesterday that there was a possibility to summon an extraordinary session of the Parliament to lift Dobre immunity although PDL does not hold a majority within the Standing Bureau of the Deputies Chamber. According to Mediafax, Blaga statement is supported also by PDL group leader within the Deputies Chamber, Mircea Toader.
