PNL to analyse referendum and local elections on September 6

PNL spokesperson Mihai Voicu announced on Wednesday evening that the party’s Permanent Delegation and National Executive Council will be convened on September 6 in order to analyze the results of the June 10 local elections and of the July 29 referendum. He pointed out that PNL’s joint Parliamentary groups will also be convened on September 3 in order to discuss the legislative priorities for the final session of this Parliamentary sitting (September – December). On the other hand, Voicu announced that the party’s Political Bureau has asked its MPs not to vote in favour of the start of criminal investigation procedures against former Administration Minister Victor Paul Dobre since the Prosecutor’s Office’s request is not based on solid reasons. We remind our readers that the High Court’s Prosecutor’s Office asked the Lower Chamber to approve the start of a criminal investigation against Dobre.
