Red Hot Chili Peppers will give its first concert in Romania on Friday, August 31. The concert will take place within Bucharest’s National Arena and is part of the tournament through which the band is promoting its latest album – “I’m with you.” Red Hot Chili Peppers is extremely excited with the prospect of giving its first concert in Romania, the members of the band saluting their Romanian fans in a video message. Thus, Anthony Kiedis, bass singer Flea and Josh Klinghoffer, the band’s new guitar player, recorded a brief video message for their Romanian fans, expressing their delight with the prospect of giving their first show in Romania. The video is already available on Youtube.

Red Hot Chili Peppers was formed in Los Angeles in 1983. The band launched its first album in 1984. Success came with the album “Blood Sugar Sex Magic,” launched in 1991. The album that was sold in over 15 million copies contains hits such as: “Give it away,” “Under the bridge” and “Breaking the girl.”
“Californication,” start of a new era in the band’s history
1999 meant the launch of a new Red Hot Chili Peppers album: “Californication.” The album was sold in over 16 million copies and contains hits that became anthems for rock fans: “Otherside,” “Californication,” “Scar Tissue,” “Road Trippin.”
Today Red Hot Chili Peppers consists of the following members: Anthony Kiedis, Michael “Flea” Balzary, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer. In 2012 Red Hot Chili Peppers will be inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
