Meteorologists issued yesterday morning a windstorm watch alert for 14 counties in Moldavia, eastern Greater Wallachia, Dobrogea and the mountainous parts of Valcea, Arges, Dambovita, Prahova, Covasna, Brasov and Sibiu counties. The wind will reach speeds of 55-70 kilometers per hour and will surpass 80 kilometers per hour over limited areas especially in eastern Moldavia and at the seaside. The wind speed will continue to be high at the seaside and in the Delta on August 28-29 too. The watch alert issued yesterday morning lasted from 9 AM to 9 PM.Weather to become nice againThe weather forecast for the following days shows that the weather will become generally nice and will warm up slightly after the sudden cooling down registered on Monday. The sky will be clear most of the time, being overcast at the start of the period only in southeastern regions and at the mountainside where weak showers will be registered over limited areas. The wind speed will reach speeds of 60-70 kilometers per hour and 80 kilometers per hour in Moldavia, Baragan, Dobrogea and in the mountainous areas. In Bucharest the weather will be nice. The sky will be clear and the wind speed low to moderate. The maximum temperature will reach 28-29 degrees.
