INS: Job vacancy rate down 0.02 pc in Q2

The rate of job vacancies stood at 0.59 pc in the second quarter of the year, down 0.02 pc from the previous quarter and 0.9 pc year on year, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INS). During the said interval, job vacancies matched 24,700, down 300 jobs from the previous quarter, and shrank by 3,000 year on year. Second quarter job vacancies per economic sectors show the highest number in the public administration, financial brokerage and insurance, and water distribution respectively.
