Japan donates medical equipment to a pediatric hospital in Bucharest

Children Emergency Hospital “Maria Sklodowska Curie” in Bucharest hosted on Thursday the inauguration ceremony for the medical equipment donated by the Japanese Government to the hospital. H.E. Mr. Natsuo Amemiya, the Ambassador of Japan to Romania attended the event which was hosted by Dr. Catalin Gabriel Smarandache, manager of the above-mentioned hospital.The donation was made through a non-refundable assistance program financed by the Government of Japan and called “Grant Assistance for Grassroots / Human Security Projects”. Based on the grant contract, the Pediatric Emergency Hospital “Maria Sklodowska Curie” received the amount of EUR 62,925 to acquire surgical equipment for the Pediatric Surgery Section II of the hospital.
