EximBank supports Romanian companies’ entry into new markets

“Supporting penetration by Romanian companies of new and risker markets – such as Africa, South America, the Middle east or the ex-Soviet area – is one of the strategic goals of the EximBank for 2012 – 2016, with the bank offering complex and integrated solutions to exporters and companies seeking internationalization,” said Ionut Costea, president EximBank, at the annual meeting of the Romanian diplomacy, according to the bank communique.  EximBank insures non-payment risks associated to export contracts to non-EU markets or non-member countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), as well as risks associated with Romanian investments abroad.  The EximBank official re-affirmed the institution’s availability to cooperate with ambassadors and economic councillors at Romania’s diplomatic missions to identify new means for cooperation.
