On September 13-16, the Municipality of Bucharest organised several events marking 553 years since the first mentioning of the city by a document. The ‘Bucharest Days’ events included street theatrical shows on all central boulevards, handicraftsmen’s fairs, music and dance shows in parks, and parades in old costumes, also held in the Herastrau Park.
