Battistero invests EUR 50 M in panettone factory at Jucu

Italian company Battistero will invest EUR 50 M in a pastry factory that will produce the panettone sweet bread in the Tetarom III industrial park of Jucu, near Cluj-Napoca, thus creating 500 new jobs, Mediafax reports. The president of the Cluj County Council said that the new factory will become operational in September next year and the contract will be signed next month. According to Uioreanu, it will export its products in Eastern and Northern Europe. Battistero did not request state aid for its investment, he added. Felice Moretti, the owner of Battistero explained that he chose Cluj for its geographic location.
