Two large cruise ships, Queen Victoria and Azura, will dock at Constanta on September 23 and September 30, with the more than 7,000 tourists that will be in Romania for 10 hours set to spend several hundreds of thousands of Euros on trips and souvenirs, Mediafax informs. Queen Victoria will dock on Sunday, at 8 AM. The ship has a capacity of 2,014 passengers and has a crew of approximately 1,000 persons. Most of the passengers are British. The ship has seven restaurants, 13 bars, three swimming pools, a ball room and a theatre. The ship left Southampton (England) and will make port calls in Palma de Mallorca (Spain), Yalta and Odessa (Ukraine), Constanta (8 AM – 6 PM), Istanbul (Turkey), Piraeus (Greece) and Porto (Portugal). Azura will dock a week later, being the largest cruise ship to make a port call in Constanta this season. The ship has over 3,000 passengers, most of them British, and a crew of approximately 1,300 persons.
