EximBank finances new Romcab plant

EximBank has financed the new plant belonging to Romcab, one of the largest Romanian producers of cables and electric conductors. The plant was inaugurated at the end of last week in Acatari, Mures County, as part of a project co-financed from the European Regional Development Fund, a press communiqué informs. “By offering a mix of products worth approximately RON 200 M we managed to contribute not only to the company’s and region’s development, but also to the absorption of European funds. We are trying to have in our portfolio as many partnerships of this type as possible, partnerships that would generate a win-win relationship with the business environment, and I believe we made significant progress in this sense,” EximBank President Ionut Costea stated at the inauguration of the plant.
