Tens of thousands of tourists are expected this weekend in the Sinaia resort at the 19th edition of the Sinaia Forever Festival that will feature concerts and a film festival and will mark one hundred years since the construction of the city’s Casino. The Sinaia Forever Festival will take place on September 28-30, tens of thousands of tourists being expected to attend it, considering that during previous editions approximately 50,000 persons took part in the activities that the Sinaia City Hall organized during the three days of festival, Sinaia City Hall spokesperson Madalina Rosu stated.Voltaj, Alex Velea, Horia Brenciu, Andreea Banica, Puya and Sore will give concerts during this edition. The International Conference Centre will host the 4th edition of the Film 4 Fun Festival that will feature workshops and the screening of films. Likewise, this edition of the Sinaia Forever Festival will mark one hundred years since the inauguration of the Sinaia Casino. On this occasion tourists will be given guided tours of the Casino free of charge. Since Wednesday afternoon until October 1 traffic will be restricted in downtown Sinaia, making way for the scenery, cafes and stands on which craftsmen will exhibit their products. The following routes can be used as detours: National Road 1 – city’s beltway, Republicii Boulevard – intersection with Carol Boulevard – Mihail Kogalniceanu, Theodor Aman – Furnica – all directions (Peles Castle, Monastery, Gondola, Altitude 1,400).
