Romanian conductor Ion Marin will receive, on October 14 in Berlin, the Echo award for the record sales that the “Legacy” album that Marin produced along with violinist David Garrett and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra registered, the artist’s press bureau informs, being quoted by Mediafax. The “Legacy” album was released by the Decca record label, a Universal Music division, and registered over 200,000 sales in Germany. The album won a double golden record in Great Britain for registering over 300,000 sales.
