Germany’s Gothaer Finanzholding has finalized the takeover of 67 per cent of Platinum Asigurari’s registered capital after the transaction was approved by the Insurance Supervisory Commission (CSA), the Romanian insurer announced, Mediafax informs. The rest of Platinum’s shares are owned by Constantin Toma, Omniasig’s former general manager, and by Efraim Naimer. The company will soon be rebranded as Gothaer.
