Romanian handball player Cristina Neagu has made an official comeback after an 18-month pause, playing in the away game that Oltchim won against ASC Corona 2010 Brasov on Wednesday, score 34-23 (19-10 at half time). Neagu entered the game in the 45th minute, in the defence, and scored her first goal in the 59th minute, converting a 7-meter throw at the score of 33-22. She also made three assists. Cristina Neagu, the world’s best handball player in 2010, had played her last game on February 12, 2011, against Spanish title holders Itxako Estella (25-26), after which she underwent shoulder surgery in the US.
