For the position of vice-president of EPP is running also the Romanian politician and PDL vice-president Anca Boagiu. Yesterday, the first vice-president of PDL Cezar Preda stated that the party will support Anca Boagiu for the position she is running within EPP and also said the organization of the EPP Congress in Bucharest represents a “tremendously positive” signal for Romania and that, on this occasion, the European leaders will confirm PDL’s politics. Preda added that the main European leaders will “surely have meetings with PDL and UDMR leadership”, but he mentioned he doesn’t believe they will meet the Government’s representatives. Also on Thursday the resolution of the Congress will be voted and beside that, there will be more speeches and a press conference.
