Peace envoy in Beirut for Syria solutions

Scrambling to find a solution to Syria’s bloody civil war, international envoy Lakhdar Brahimi arrived in Lebanon on Wednesday in his regional campaign to forge a cease-fire in Syria. During his brief stop in Beirut, Brahimi met with Lebanese President Michel Suleiman. Later Wednesday, Brahimi was expected to visit the Syrian capital of Damascus.
