EP President Martin Schulz, in Romania Tuesday and Wednesday

The Chamber of Deputies informed yesterday that the President of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz, would be making an official visit to Romania on Tuesday and Wednesday. On the first day of his trip, the official will travel to Targu Jiu together with the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Valeriu Zgonea, PM Victor Ponta and Environment Minister Rovana Plumb, to visit the local water cleaning station project financed by the EU.  According to the release, the visit to Targu Jiu will be followed by official talks with Prime Minister Victor Ponta, at the Government. On Wednesday at 10:00, Schulz will address the joint chambers of the Parliament. The official will also meet with representatives of the leadership of the Romanian Parliament, with the President of the country, ministers, professors and students of the National School for Political and Administration Studies (SNSPA).
