Florin Alexandru Ioan Paslaru, the son of Galati Deputy Florin Paslaru, who will run in for yet another legislative term, is accused of physically assaulting a female councilor at the National Integrity Agency (ANI). According to rtv.net, the ANI councilor went to Galati to inform the County Electoral Bureau that Florin Paslaru is no longer eligible to run for another term as deputy, yet, when she tried to lodge her complaint, she was approached by the deputy’s son who physically assaulted her. Eyewitnesses say the deputy’s son pushed and hit the ANI employee. “That lady, the ANI councilor, along with an older lady (…), whom later on I learned that she was Mr. Toader’s wife (Democrat-Liberal Deputy Mircea Toader) came to me, bullied me and tried to take my phone pretending I recorded them. When I tried to pass between them, they got hold on me and ripped my clothes. I will consult my lawyer to see whether I can lodge a claim,” the deputy’s son said. In her turn, the ANI councilor announced she would file a complaint against the son of the Galati Social Democratic Party (PSD) deputy.
