The National Council of the Audiovisual (CNA) yesterday decided to sanction four television channels which exploited the media scandal between MEP Corneliu Vadim Tudor and TV stars Oana Zavoranu and Mariana Moculescu. According to the CNA decision, on Tuesday, Acas? TV, Kanal D, Pro TV and Antena 1 shall cease broadcasting for 10 minutes, during 7 p.m.-7.10 p.m. The CNA decision passed by 7 votes. The sanction follows several slipages signalled during the scandal shows “ Direct Acces “, “A Sinful Show “, “Happy Hour”, “Cancan TV” and “WowBiz”. The four channel concerned aired over the past few weeks coverage showing Corneliu Vadim Tudor, Marioara Zavoranu (Oana Zavoranu’s mother) and Mariana Moculescu exchanging insults. “This is a conclusive example of how such dirt could be aired.
